This month, we’re celebrating the ripple effects of our Learning Journeys — interactive, hands-on experiences designed to inspire action and spark change across Singapore’s schools and communities.
Empowering the Next Generation of Growers
At V-Plus Agritech, our mission has always been more than just building urban farms — it’s about building understanding, ownership, and lifelong appreciation for food systems and sustainability. Our Learning Journeys have reached students of all ages, offering them the chance to grow, harvest, taste, and reflect on their roles in the food ecosystem.
These immersive sessions don’t end at the classroom. Many schools that attended our Learning Journeys have since gone on to build their own edible gardens, integrate sustainability into their curriculum, or start student-led produce donation drives. From rooftop towers to courtyard hydroponics, our workshops create lasting impact far beyond the day itself.
What Makes a Learning Journey Work?
We’ve drawn inspiration from community leader like Edible Garden City, who have pioneered green education in Singapore. Like them, we believe the most powerful learning happens when it’s experiential, accessible, and rooted in purpose.
Our programs combine guided farm tours with hands-on activities, including:
- Seedling propagation and transplanting
- Vertical farming demonstrations
- Introduction to aquaponics and zero-waste farming
- Harvesting and taste-testing greens
- Sustainability storytelling — from carbon footprints to food miles
For Schools, Corporates, and Communities
Whether you’re a school integrating the SG Green Plan into lessons, or a corporate team looking for a unique ESG-focused experience, our Learning Journeys are a gateway to meaningful engagement.
And the best part? These programs often inspire follow-up action — from setting up edible gardens, to tapping on SG Eco Fund grants, to embedding sustainability into daily habits. It’s learning with a purpose, and results you can measure.
Looking Ahead
This June, we’re expanding our reach. With more partner sites, updated curriculum content, and optional farm kits for schools post-visit, our aim is simple: to plant seeds that grow into lasting change.
